TENDO

Tendo is completely hand drawn. It was first sketched on graph paper and then translated into a vector file on the computer with a Wacom tablet. The font is based on a very loose grid system. The letters are hand drawn using this grid and the grid only served as a guide. The letters are fairly high and narrow. The letters t, l, f and j are very eye-catching because of their tight curves. Tendo got its name because drawing a lot of those long and straight lines with the hand gave me Tendonitis and I could only work on it with longer pauses and some pain.
